Update 25 September 2011: Fix problem where online maps were not displaying on some systems.

Release 4.10 - 7 September 2011:

Introducing online background maps from openstreetmap.org. All TackTracker platforms can now play tracks over an online map to provide more race context. This is especially useful when races are sailed close to land and are influenced by shore lines.

With maps, you can now use TackTracker for other activities, such as cycling or running.

TackTracker's map implementation uses local caching so that previously viewed map tiles are still available when you are disconnected from the internet.

This major new release makes tracking easier than ever before! Features:

The new design puts you fully in control and whilst the process is still automatic, you can see exactly what is happening. The new races dialog now lets you create multiple back-back races in one step - eliminating the old serial process that was confusing to many people.

To simplify terminology, we now use the term "race" throughout in place of "event". The Mark Move Tool is now the Mark Drag Tool.
