Race Player Enhancements:
You can now import and display shorelines and background images, such as maps and charts in the race replay. Use Google Earth to draw your path or postion your image, then import into TackTracker. (See the quick guide for details.)
We've improved the Track mode and introduced a new Auto play mode for unattended replay. TackTracker automatically pans and zooms around the course, and pays special attention to mark roundings.
TackTracker sports a new layout, with improved controls that take up less space.
The new look Timeline shows the current boat name. Drag the boat along the line as before, or use the new Throttle control on the left to drive boats forward and backward.
Fullscreen mode gives you a much expanded plot area, with the left panel completely hidden.
 TackTracker now shows the current race position in the Select Tab.
You can check "Sort Place" to have TackTracker automatically sort the competitor list by place as you play the race to make a running leader board.
Leg and Tack tables now show min and max speeds for each leg or tack.
Race Editor Enhancements:
- The process of uploading and clearing Trackers has been made easier and faster, with minimum mouse clicks.
- TackTracker helps you through the process of defining a race, with Red highlighting to let you know steps you need to complete.
- New Training Session mode makes TackTracker the ideal training companion. The training mode accounts for the differences between a training session and a regular race. In a training session, boats do not start all the same time, nor necessarily round marks in the same sequence. Select Training Session to have TackTracker automatically detect the mark roundings for each boat.
- The timeline and legs update as you make changes, so you can see the effect straight away.
- TackTracker now supports trackers attached to start/finish boats and marks.
Navigation Rally:
TackTracker's Navigation Rally manager lets you easily and accurately run a navigation rally with a fraction of the effort required by traditional methods. There is no need for any spotters - they can now participate in the rally! Collation and computation of all results is completely automatic. Watch a replay after the event. Note that a separate "Navigation Rally" license is required to access these features.
