The First event in the Southport Yacht Club DUX Series, Predicted Log Event was held on October 3rd, 2009 This event has been held by SYC for almost 40years and is conducted over a N/S course on the Gold Coast Broatwater. The event begins west of WaveBreak Island near the Gold Coast Seaway and finishes just north of the DUX retreat on Stradbroke Island. Nineteen boats contested the first event using Tacktracker.
